I wasn't looking for a 20 cent piece, but (pic)... Come on! Somebody have an opinion!

I was at a very tiny coin show in Burlington, VT on Sunday morning. It's a dozen tables or so, you can zip in and out in no time at all, and it is very close to my parents' place so we went. I was looking at a guy's display who had lots of 19th century type in mid-circ collector grades, and I asked to see this 20 cent piece. He had it marked "Fine" on the 2x2, busted down to "G+" for the damage. The written price was well below bid for Good. As I looked it over, he said "I could sell that one for [ten less than that]." We told him we'd do the circuit and see, maybe we'd be back. I took a walk down the hall and discussed it with my wife; we agreed I'd kick myself if I didn't bring it home, so I went back and bought it. It compares pretty well with ANACS stuff net graded anywhere F12-VF20 in the Heritage auction archives. I like it. Your thoughts?

Personally, I think it's a great coin. I certainly wouldn't be ashamed to own it.
Sorry, I can't comment intelligently on the TPG and net grade angle. I don't follow that stuff much.
Forbid it, Almighty God!

<< <i>The most noticable "damage" I see on this coin is a slight porosity/pitting. I think that it has good eye appeal for a low grade coin, and VG details. I like it. period. Especially if for a discount from "G" price. >>
VG details? More like VF...
Here's a VG I cracked from a PCGS slab:
Remember, LIBERTY isn't incuse--it's often completely gone until at least Fine...
