The Federal Reserve Bank (BRANCH) in Omaha says wait until April 1st to see the new nickel at banks

they told me that here in Omaha, the branch won't even get the new nickels until the end of March and won't be available to banks until April 1st. It's gotta be an April fools joke. except I'm not laughing

Is that the timeline for distribution for the rest of the country too?

Went to the bank Thursday and picked up a couple rolls of California quarters. Asked about the new nickels and the teller told me next week after Thursday (their coin delivery day)............Rick......Houston
