What on earth does this eBay feedback mean?

"Would sell for £9.99 but there is a few people interested so you will have to be"

The fella is English. He also sent a well worded e-mail thanking me for paying him so fast and telling me he would send my coins Tuesday. Oh well, at least it was a positive.

OKay I think I get it now... I gather he is saying the coins would have sold for 9.99 pounds but it seems few people were interested in the coins so you are the lucky one. Okay it's a shot in the dark...LOL!

I got them for £35, if he wanted to sell me some at £9.99 I'd buy a truckload, but I think you are on the right track.

Well since I typed 'new' instead of 'knew' I would say the market value is very low.

I guess he simply hasn't realized there's a limit on the number of characters you can input ... and then didn't care to rewrite it when he ran out.

I just had a seller leave me a positive,,,,"Thanks for pament, but postage wasn't enough for insured mail,I had to pay for"

Not only was there no mention that insur. was required on the $16 coin,,,he did not insure it, but sent it as "Delivery Confirmation" only, no signiture required. What are these sellers thinkingimage

Sounds like one of those sellers trying to make "a little extra" off the S&H.

Living in Alaska I get treated by some sellers like I live in Africa. S&H goes up 2-3x. It really ticks me off because we have USPS just like everyone else.
