Can't get through to the mint !!

I am trying to get through the 800 # 800-872-6468... busy, busy, busy...can't evem order online.....phones and website jammed...anyone else have the same problem ?????image

    I've been trying to order the new nickles and not having too much success! Maybe the found an "up" and "down" horn and they are trying to catch them all before they get out!

    there has been so much hype on these, does anyone doubt these will sell out fast? Should be small window to make a few bucks and get a few sets for free....

    I just looked and the website says the the 2 roll set in "No Longer Available". Can they be sold out already?

    If they are sold out already they are stupidier then I think they are.

    Just keep making and selling them, there is not a preset mintage like the Buffalo Dollars of 2001.

    Heavy use is slowing down the web page a lot as so many users are taking up all their bandwidth. I got in and placed and order in about 20 minutes. It was pretty slow and I'm on broadband here at work. HS Cable may be a tad better, dial up would be nearly impossible.

    Hopefully the mint won't cancel my order. I was able to get in and place an order for a few of the rolls. Received a confirmation number and all, but as you well know that doesn't mean diddly... Keeping my fingers crossed.

    Everything Bison Nickel is still available as of 1PM, bags and rolls. Delivery date of 3/15/2005 is listed on all of them.

    They just recently released 90 million into circulation.I'd say you can get them from your local bank within the next week or so.

    Well, I finally got my order placed - it took me an hour to wait for pages to load, reload, blah blah blah. What a pain! I do have confirmation number - and even double checked it on the web - website said "Will be available 3/15"!!!

    I barely got thru on the phone even before 11 am. No way could I get through after noon. They didn't even activate the BUY button until about 12:25 on my end. Guess everyone was reloading.

    If you are having problems locating the nickel go to the search window and type in buffalo nickels it will take you to the product and an add to cart button. I couldnt find the bags initially so I tried this and it took me immediately to the buffalo bags. I have a T1 connection at work so I got thru but its was very slow. Good luck.

    I just got through with no problem. Got my rolls. Luckily I have a university connection. Even then it lagged. I feel sorry for all of those 56k people

    I'm a 56K person and just now placed my order for 4 roll sets.Was a little aggravating but did get through.

    Got mine! I backed down off my 20 set order and only ordered 5. I have a strange feeling that I will be kicking myself in the butt in about 2 or 3 months. The important thing is that I got 1 set for my unborn child that will be born sometime in mid-October. What to do with the other 4......hmmmmmmmm. T-1 connection at work and it probably only took me 3 minutes to order start to finish. They went on sale exactly two hours ago....amazing that they are backordered already.

    Thank you. I did the search, found it and ordered 4 sets in about 2 minutes...backordered until 3/15...but i got them oredered. Wooohoooooo !!!!!image

    Me too -- just got through to order 4 two-coin sets. I got no notification that they are backordered, but I suppose they are.

    I ordered 15 Sets and they said "in Stock" when i ordered and in my email confirmation. I have dial up and it took me 45 minutes. i think these will be gone in very short order.

    I ordered mine about 12:30 today and just checked my email confirmation and it says in stock

    It took me a while to get in with my DSL connection. Probably 8-10 minutes total/

    If it's any consolation, I got that same error the other day when I was cancelling 2 of my subscriptions. The next morning I got emails confirming that the cancellations went thru. Maybe your order went thru...and it was just reading an error like mine was?
