Most all look like 62 or 63's

eyoung429: All I saw were photos of 1881-O's. Were there any 1880-O photos that I missed seeing??

I agree, 62/63. I'll put it this way, I don't see any that would grade as high as 64, or as low as 61. Nice looking coins.
  • Thank you all. it's great having some good uncir. to compare other raw purchases agains. These are some good examples of a common date and strike that me and the kids can go through without spending MS64+ prices on. I am really impressed by the fact that the 3rd side on all of the coins that I just purchased have excellent reeding, can see all the raised devices and now we are going to look through my vam book and see what we can come up with.

  • Very nice coins. I have an 1880-S, or was it an O?, that looks like the Morgans you posted. I was shocked when I got the coin and saw the smooth fields and cartwheel luster. Blew me away that a coin which is 125 years old can have an original luster to it and look that nice. image
I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.
