Are you talking about that Lebron/MJ card and its "1/1" brethren that caused all the fuss? I'm curious, too. I seem to recall the Lebron/MJ card sold for the price of an oceanfront condo once or twice, but the bids were retracted or something. I think it finally sold legitimately in the end, I forget for how much but it was a lot less than the amount trumpeted in the initial auction. Even so, some people here thought it would lose 80% of its value in a year or two. I wonder if it's been offered for sale again.
  • I saw an article about 2 months ago about the Lebron Jordan it did sell for I think $37,000 to an East coast collector.

Probably similar people who bought those Tiger Woods rookie cards on Shop At Home back in the 1990's for $10,000 - $20,000 that are now selling on ebay for $50.
