Here's my entry for "Fugliest" Franklin. This does have sentimental value for me. It was a gift from my Mother many, many, years ago. I'd forgotten about it but found it again last year when I was moving. Heres a picture of the "Gift Set" it came in. Lee

First of all - that's an endroll toned coin, and it probably got that way from hanging around at the end of a roll, and I would say in a moist environment. I've seen several silver Kennedies with that same look. It's unfortunate, but if you try to take that toning off by dipping it - you would ruin the coin. These coins make the ones that have pretty color that much better.
