A lamp solution for those that want to use the Sylvania Daylight PAR 30 bulbs

I'm convinced that outside of the very expensive quartz halogen lights, the Sylvania bulbs are the best for coins. However, most flexible lamps will not handle the heavy PAR 30 bulbs. Here's the solution, a 24" flexible lamp that is specifically made for PAR 30 bulbs:

Yes, because they are designed for the heavy PAR bulbs. The problem with the flexible lights you find in hardware stores is that they are designed for light normal household bulbs.

I got a couple of the Sylvania 50w daylight halo mini floods that worked pretty good with a heavy duty desktop lamp they had at Lowes. They'll come in handy when I get a copystand. Everything was getting too hot with the way I take photos now with the lights only about a foot from the coin and camera on a tabletop.

From what I've seen, I'm going to like these mini floods.
