    MS64 but it could be lower than that. It looks like, from the image, that George has a scratch over his eye which could factor into the grade. But that is just my guessimage Still a very nice looking dollarimage

    MS62 due to unattractive toning? There's something I don't like on the obverse, but I can't seem to realize what.

  • I'd say 63, the obverse looks fairly common for the coin to me. And I've seen far, far more unattractive toning on these coins.

    I don't know the valuations on these, but it looks cleaned....that little spot up by the crown makes me suspicious aboot it being unc.+.....but hey,

  • Looks like some carbon spotting and a scratch on the obverse. I don't know English Coins that well, I'm just getting into them - US standard I'd say a MS62-63 at best from the image. If it looks better in hand then I'd say you did well.

    It looks 63 or 64 to me. The rev looks clear - non of the usual chatter. I am concerned about the 2 spots on the obv (forward of the crown and above the eyebrow. Needs an acetone bath.

    BTW - very nice $ too
