No pictures (yet) but a FUN story on Rainbow Morgan NEWPS!

Last month, I bought a small hoard (16) of certified Rainbow toned 65/66 Morgans from a regional dealer at my local coin show (Hot Springs, AR). I was able to obtain a nice price and have since passed on most of them to forum memebers...

Well, this regional dealer called me last week and said he just acquired a 30 year old collection of 300 NGC/PCGS/ANACS certified Morgans in 64/65/66. He gave me FIRST shot at them today when I met him in Memphis at that coin show!

I was like a kid in a candy (diamond?) store! It was soooo overwhelmingly cool! I bought 83, that's right 83, mainly first thru third generation holdered certified Rainbow Toned Morgans! I got about 12 66s, 60 65s and 11 64s, give or take (I am still shaking!)

About 10 of them are bonified Mooses! Material that I feel certain Sonnier (GSA Guy) would opine as "cute". About 25 to 35 are "A" box toners and the balance are wonderful "B" box rainbows!

I wanted to share this with all my friends here on the forum since, to me, this is as close to finding my own sunken treasure that I will probably ever come.

Thanks for sharing my story! I will post pictures as soon as I get them done.

(Oh yeah, I bought this one Commem he had...ANACs 67 Texas two sided wonderfully toned half...not sure what that is worth but it sure was pretty!)
