    D'oh.

I'd've been sorely tempted to pull the trigger on that one, too.

The Black thingy is my next car. I just placed a order for a new Prius one of those new fangled hybrid thingies. I got 3 or 4 months before it comes in.

I don't know why you put up with this Bill. I wanted to buy a Mini Cooper S about three months ago, and the waiting time was 6-7 months! image As it wasn't exactly a Lamborghini to justify this sort of waiting time, and the attitude of the dealer was very snobbish, as the car is very popular, it only took me one day to change my mind and buy a Citroen C2 VTS , a wise decision that saved me more than $10K too. Nice shilling BTW, you've been looking for this for quite some time now. image

Gawd, what a tiny little car.

I always call 'em the Priapus for some reason. Must be some Freudian slip. image

I could get something like that stuck in the wheel well of Lord Marco's Van and not even know it.

For those who've called me "Lord Minivan" in the past, I'll have you know there ain't nothin' mini about it.

That's Lord MACROvan to y'all. Get it straight.

  • Very nice shilling, with some nice rim toning

I've got no problem waiting the 3 or 4 months as it was part of the plan anyway. I still have a few more payments on my current car plus this way I get to order exactly what I want and not have to settle for what is on the dealers lot.

The car is a mid size car and it has plenty of room. Plus there is no sales tax on hybrids and I get a $2,000 deductible at tax time for it.

Yes I have been looking for a George II shilling for awhile and was lucky enough to have python find just the right one and PM me about it. image

Well, when you put it like this, it seems logical. I, on the other hand could not afford to wait. image

You think the Prius is a small car Rob? Then you should see the Citroen in person, I think the total length is slightly more than 3.50 metres, that's about 10 feet I guess, but with a very powerful 125HP (1600 cc) engine. Small size and fast was the two absolute priorities for me. Driving conditions in Athens and most European big cities are similar to those of NY, so the smaller the size, the better it is. I can find parking spots where 75% of the other cars simply don't fit. It's funny, really small cars like mine, are still seen as a curiosity in the US. image

No intention to hijack this thread Bill, sorry, just a sudden need of bragging about my new little car. imageimage.Mine is black though.

I'm waiting for one of these M45's to depreciate enough for me to afford one.

Driving conditions in NY don't hold a candle to those in European cities, not even at rush hour.

    Farthing,

the Smart was on my list, but the fast Brabus version is ridiculously expensive. So are the other models, but it is cool.image The Smart rep (Mercedes Benz) in Athens is a client of mine, I have designed and supervised three of his showrooms and office buildings. I'm surprised it's not available in the US, it would be an instant hit, at least with the ladies.

Dimitri the Citroen is a cool looking car. As for the Prius it is 175 in or about 4.5 meters long.
