IHC experts....opinion on this coin?

Have it in hand. Picture is pretty accurate. While there are no hits, there is a little bit of "roughness" in the cheek. Luster and fields are amazing. What do you think? LINK

nice coin. The question is whether that roughness and slight color change bothers you? If you don't like it now you probably won't ever like it.

My first thought is why is that Not photosealed?

Doesn't Rick think it's up to par for a 66?

Ok Bustman! I was thinking he usually puts the (PS) abbreviation on the pic page as well as the desc. page.

    my mistake.

My thoughts are pictures of coins such as this one don't reveal a good likeness of the true look of the coin- and with copper a true guage of the color of the coin is the most important thing to me to judge it by. Too many conserved indians in slabs these days so I am alway's over cautious when going by a picture. mike

Roughness on the cheek...a 66...no way...especially if you ever have to sell it.

I'm not sure I like it for the grade, but as others have stated, copper never usually comes out on photos exactly as it would look in hand. For me there is too much chatter on the cheek for 66 money.

I liked it. Actually the cheek "Roughness" is not actually contact roughness. I no longer have the coin, but as I recall it was a real beauty! Lake samm, yes, I need to upgrade my pictures, especially ones from your collection.
