I have been trying to get my wife to do that for a while now but for some reason she wont do it
It is a bunch of junk that's almost worthless, even if it was graded, but regardless of that it's still a scary auction to bid on. Zero feedback, private bids, only accepts bank check or money order. I wouldn't bid in these circumstances even if those binders were full of NM '33 Goudeys.
He knows it's junk, too. That's why he doesn't want someone warning off any starry-eyed bidders he gets. If he wants a downpayment for a home, he's gonna have to break out his real cards.
