If he does sue, the burden of proof will be on RAFFY to prove he didn't take steroids, not on Canseco to prove he did.
And hate Canseco all you want, but his outing all these steroid users is good for baseball.

Preponderance Of The Evidence

The preponderance is not based upon the amount of evidence, but the evidence that is more influential and its probable trust or accordance. Civil cases require a preponderance of the evidence and is contrasted with "beyond a reasonable doubt," which is the more severe test of evidence that a criminal trial requires to convict. The meaning is somewhat subjective, despite the definition as stated in various legal opinions.

Yet more evidence of someone who says something stupid without researching the effects of steroids beforehand. Steroids do not make you go limp. It can actually cause the opposite (increased sex drive). It causes testicular shrinkage, which is much different than impotence.

Steroids abuse can cause decrease sex drive in some men. There is plenty of research that shows that many men have experienced lack of sex drive and if steroids used is only Deca (sp?) and no HGH is used in conjuction then some men even lose erections.

So anyone who promotes any product is a sell-out in your opinion? Or just certain products make them sell-outs? And what product is Canseco being sponsored by? If Raffy states he has a medical condition and he uses the product, how is that a bad thing? How many celebrities do you see sponsored by a product that you know they'd never use.
So Mark Martin is a w***e for his race team being sponsored by viagra? Your argument is flawed at best. You are the hypocrite, because, if you and Raffy were switched, you'd gladly snatch up the money and talk it up, too.
Tiger Woods is sponsored by Oldsmobile. Does anyone think for a second he drives an Olds?

You jump to conclusions and think that I believe that being a money wh**re is a bad thing. I don't think it is. The word "wh**re" may rightfully lead you to believe that, but I think that pros who have worked hard could take on endoresements to make much more. Michael Jordan was another money wh**re and I loved him. And you are correct. I would do the exact same thing - I would endorse something for millions just like Raffy would. I was just providing a reason to someone's cynical reason for Raffy's endoresement. If you read my posts here, you will know that Raffy is one of my favorites in the game.
As far as Canseco goes, just read his book. It is filled with good things and horrible things, but the guy still seems to think that Jose Canseco is the biggest things in baseball. He will charge $2,500 for someone to spend a day with him. And from reading the book, he brags about what he was bale to do with his self-promotion. Thta to me is being a bad money "wh**re" Currently, however, I know of no one endorsing him.
