at the local Canadian post office branch. I didn't even know in advance that I'd have a chance to stop off there, but my friend needed to stop for gas, and the gas
station is right next to the p.o. Anyway, since I'm into nautical themes and it was still 30% off, I decided to buy THIS COIN to add to my collection. I also bought THIS COIN
because the lady sold me it at 30% off, even though it was a 2005 coin.
Then, the lady who I've been dealing with said her boss was talking about selling all their extra coins to the local coin dealer before they close the branch. The lady I've
been dealing with said she thinks her boss' idea is stupid and should sell them to their customers first. Anyway, I was in before anything was decided, so this lady asked her
co-worker, and they decided to sell me THIS SET at FORTY PERCENT off!!! With my extreme fondness for
animals and animal coins, how could I resist? I figured I'd NEVER get another deal like this again in my lifetime, so I splurged and bought this as well.
I bet if the branch sells the coins to the local dealer, he'll sell them at the same price as the RCM, or maybe with a 10% discount, but still make about $30 or so per coin.
I almost feel like I won the lottery!!!
