Yep, it's bad flip haze. Some poor schmuck submitted a nice coin and got back a piece of crap. That's pretty easy to correct. I'll take a close look at it when it comes in and decide whether I'll do it myself or have NCS handle the job.
I bought this 1865 two center for $22 including shipping. Since my raw two cent collection is in this grade range (VF-AU), I thought it would be cool to get a certified example I can compare against. I'll probably keep it for a week or two then sell it on E-Bay (unless I like it better than my current 1865 of course).
