I am not really too fond of the hassan cards. Maybe i am in the minority here, but the T205 set was not particularly appealing.

compared to other sets from that time, they do stand out.

I have never been a big fan either, but they are surely much nicer than some serial numbered refractor.

Agree on Jay - Qualitycards - if you want great service, honesty, a friend to the hobby - check his website and ebay auctions....you will never be disappointed!

Having said that, sayhey did throw down the gauntlet, in a sense...comparing that card which is a beauty with modern cards is just not possible. Overproduction is part of the game today and for the modern collector, it is factored in when they look for better stuff to save. There are "gems" in the vintage world like the 52T Mantle and the same in the modern world like a RC chrome auto Pujols. Sometimes I like apples and other days I pick the orange.

Jay grew up in the 60's and 70's, who knows how much acid he droped!

seriously though, Jay has a great selection of cards from all years and some very reasonable prices, he is easy to deal with and will work out trades and maybe take off a % if he likes you.

come to think of it, when its JAY DAY again?
