Is a bodybagged coin authenticated if it's bodybagged for something else?

This was asked a while back, but the thread is gone now. If a coin commonly counterfeited or altered is bodybagged for an obvious cleaning or other problem, do the graders even look at diagnostics? Thanks.

A body bag is not authenticated or guaranteed by PCGS in any way.

However, we would normally mark "counterfeit" if that was one of the reasons...over say cleaning or AT.

    Thanks,
