How to send a PM

Please excuse my dumb question but how does one send a PM. I've actually done it in the past but didn't write it down and if I don't I just forget stuff. Old Age.

    Just go to the yellow lock either in the top right of a message sent by the person you want to contact, or go to the yellow lock above and left of your screen. Direct it to the user you want.

    Thanks. This time I'll print it out. I know if I do this I'll probably never forget and wonder why I printed out something so simple. Again, THANKS
