Georgia State Quarters

Does anyone have a closeup of the Georgia State Quarter in MS66 or Higher. I have two rolls and was looking to get an idea of what might be worth submitting. I have noticed these coins seem to be doing well right now on the Bay of E

  • Does this help? Its from the registry sets listed on the PCGS website.

  • yeah, that was helpful, though tough to get close ups of the Quarter.

Does anyone here have any advice regarding what would qualify as "worth submitting" for the 1999 Georgia quarters. I have a roll of each and am wondering if any of them are worth sending in, hoping for MS66.....I don't know much about grading these, and/or what would qualify. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate the help.
  • If you are of a mind to open them up, here is what I do when searching a roll: I look at each coin with the naked eye and if I can see a mark or blemish, I set it aside. If I come upon a coin that I can not see anything wrong with, I check it with a 10X triple loupe. If it is mark free, I set it aside, if not, I add it to the previous pile. When I am done with the coins, I check each one that I have set aside and decide if I want to send it in for grading.

Using this process, I have mostly come up with MS67 coins and a few MS68's.

P.S. I look at the coins using a 100 watt reveal bulb.
