Need VAM Help 1882CC Morgan

I was looking at some Carson City Morgan Dollars earlier today and noticed this 1882CC. The coin seems to have some of the diagnostics of the VAM2 (Doubled 882 and Reverse...sort of) but I haven't seen a coin with the wing "pinned" to the side of the Eagles' body like this one. image

Below are a few photos for reference.

The most interesting thing is the two "pins" in the Eagle's left wing and body (CRIPPLED EAGLE?). Has anyone encountered this before?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Remember it's not how you pick your nose that matters, it's where you put the boogers.
