Question on Flying Eagle Cent

I have an FE cent that is flat on the rev.
Can't see line indicating filing or milling, any ideas?
I would think there would be some sort of impression of the rev. if the coin had gone through the regular minting process.....right?

Looks like plain old wear although it's a bit unusual for it to be mostly on one side.
Don't have access to a way to weigh the coin....might just go to the P.O. to weigh!?
It does look a bit thinner than a regular FE, but not much.
Could be just wear, but it looks & feels FLAT, I would think that if it was wear there would be some lumps(?)
My theory: it was used (for years) to hold up a leg on a wobbling table. The owner used chewing gum to stick it to the bottom of the table leg and the other side (the reverse) suffered years of wear as the table got moved around when cleaning. A saloon, maybe.
Who would of thunk it!
a worn, old, disregarded or lost penny, which spent the good part of it's later life on the ground, around/on/in some sort of machinery, out of sight for many years. shake-a, shake-a, shake-a, like on a train or bus, fallen through the cracks, after already being an 'old' cent.
really like your piece though, great character, i'm sure it has some story that will never be known.
it would be neat to see it in a P-01 holder someday, once the obv has spent some time as a pocket piece, the rev is a lock 0-0 already.
