Can anyone give me info on...

a 1980 team signed baseball of the St. Louis Cardinals. Will PSA/DNA authenticate and multiple signed ball and what would be resonable value. I can find info on single signatures but not multiple. I've e-mailed several card shops in the St. Louis area requesting info and if they were interested in purchasing the ball but no answers.

This ball was purchased at an estate auction in Virginia from a long time St. Louis resident who had retired in Virginia. Any info would be appreciated.

I'll post a picture later today.

Of course the condition of the ball is key along with who signed on the sweet spot - I like seeing the manager there; in this case Red Schoendienst; some keys Hernandez, Simmons and Kaat I believe.

The value of the ball is in the 80-120 range.

  • Whitey Herzog is on the sweet spot. Keith Hernandez, Ted Simmons and Garry Templeton are there but I can't make out Kaat's signature. I'll try to post a pic but my digital camera is on the blink.
