That's new to me. It's not on the website's list of qualifiers. Could it mean "Autographed" before PSA/DNA came along? Either that, or it's made of gold.
    WANTED:
2005 Origins Old Judge Brown #/20 and Black 1/1s, 2000 Ultimate Victory Gold #/25

Maybe it's autographed on the back?
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • awful ulgy... just kidding, I happen to like it.
  • NON-REGISTERED BIDDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BID IN MY AUCTIONS.

How does a non registered bidder bid on Ebay??

And of course my all time favorite line

    Not according to Paypal...

That is my all time favorite line. I laugh everytime I see this.
I just had a reversal in my favor yesterday. One month, no item, so I filed a claim. The seller replies with a bogus delivery confirmation to Paypal (although he never responds to my emails). I get the confirmation from the Paypal email and it's the wrong city, and wrong zipcode that it was delivered to. I replied immediately back to Paypal stating it's a bogus DC, and received my refund last night.
So afterwards, I get an email from the seller to refrain from ever bidding on his auctions as I have been blocked LOL. I said no problem. Didn't mean to sway from the subject. I like the AU qualifier too....whatever it means. Authentic? Then again, that's redundant from it being slabbed.
  • I'm on the phone with PSA right now.....the nice lady is looking into it.....drum roll.......

They say it's most likely just a mistake. Carol is looking into it and they're reading this thread as I write this LOL. Someone better pick up that card. It's a super duper 1/1 image
  • Good Morning,

I spoke with our operations manager regarding this because I'd never seen this before.
I'm told that this would be a mechanical error. If any of you decide to purchase this card, please send it in to be corrected.

    Thanks,

    Carol

  • Carol,

Thanks for looking into this and responding.

  • So its a legit 9 NQ?
  • doesn't AU stand for gold on the periodic table of elements? I am trying to remember 9th grade science here...
maybe a label glitch from their coin slabbing... eh?
  • AU is a coin term, meaning "about uncirculated", and is the highest grade given to a coin that's not mint state (MS). My guess is the labels run off the same software at PSA as they do at PCGS (which would make sense) and someone just hit the wrong button, putting in a notation of AU (which is likely in the system for the coin labels).

What I find funny about this is that the seller (Stan Martucci) has been selling cards for 50 years and has been selling PSA cards for a long time as well. And he used it in his discription!
    Good for you.
