Hi there, just read your post about a real MS61 Morgan. Neat and informative. Was wondering if you could do me (and the rest of the forum) a favor by posting a line up of Morgan pictures just like the MS61 post and do a 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, and higher if you've got em. I'm trying to get better at grading morgans.

1. this would only be beneficial and informative if the coin is typical for the grade
2. there's alot that goes into the grade other than being clear of marks so you
can't necessarily compare two coins with the same grade
to make this a useful learning tool, you would need to find typical coins and
make sure they have average strike, luster and color for the grade. And this is not
easy.
In short, you cannot compress the knowledge and experience gained from looking
at thousands of coins into a small set. I'm afraid it would mislead alot of people.
But, you are on the right track. Keep looking at coins or good pictures of coins
and you will get better at it.
