I don't know if I should be flattered, or pissed.

If you've decided it's time to sell your collection - or just a few coins - but don't have the time or the skill to list them yourself, I can handle that for you. Contact me for details. >>

That is word-for-word, exactly as it appears in my auctions, even the dashes around "or just a few coins". Would that irritate you other eBay sellers?

Well at least he's not trying to sell your coins. Beginning to believe it all cut and paste in the coin world now unless you know the seller.

Ask him if he can sell a few of your coins, but tell him he has to write his own copy in order to do so.
  • He just started doing it.

Both are Times New Roman size 12 he just went with bold.

Looks like a cut and paste job to me.
  • I was wrong, Russ you type in size 10.

Oh sure, I want to have somebody "professionally" image my coins, with fuzzy, date stamped images. image

I posted a similar story about a week and a half ago:

    Someone ripped off my text

I know there are html tricks you can use that keep people from being able to copy text. It occured to me today that you might be able to save copy as a .jpg or other form of image instead as actual text.

They can still copy your stuff, but they'll have to type it out instead of just cutting and pasting.

Russ: I think you should be flattered. Besides, with some of the "butchered" language I see on EBAY lately, it's nice to see something intelligent.image
