IT'S THAT TIME...AGAIN

The wife and I decided to do a road trip for our vacation this year and visit her mom n dad who reside in the Phoenix area. Since part of my family has just about exhausted me of major funds- we have to do this cheap, and instead of doing the original 17 day trip- we had to cut it to 9.

I am hoping that between now and the Ides of March (3rd) a few of you coin specialists can point me to a few good dealer stores like in Las Cruces, or Tucson, etc. we are doing the I-10 run from Houston all the way into Phoenix.

If any one also has a few flea markets along the route - she would be ecstatic- she collects dolls and I mean collects. ( I gave her an entire 2 bedrooms to play in- we have a 4br home). i'm hunting for more morgans in the reasonable range- not the going to take all your vacation money away price, (can't family socked me for 8K).

Since we are doin the gypsy style of travel instead of flight- can't because we are taking the fur kids with. If there are any shows in the areas on the weekend of 3/4-6 or 3/11-13 - we can alter the road a little.

Sounds like a fun trip. Only one coin shop up here in Abilene that I know of, and I havnt even been there yet

after 3 long years here- that is the full intent- and the wife sez I can buy 'some' coins. We know how that will go the first time I see a 79cc- she will have a cow on the cost- but I am trying to find a few shops we can stop and visit while on the road and veering from 10 won't be a problem- I have 2 gift gas cards that cover the trip easily.

what about all the antique stores along the highway. do they do coins? I havnt stopped in...I always wanna get to my destination.

We just did a few antique stores this past saturday- terrible, what coins I did see were garbage and actually found 2 fake trade dollars that the guy wanted big $$ for - told him I will give him 20 each just to get them off the market.
