Heres a beautiful salsa bowl, fresh off the lathe. Its about 6 inches in diameter, and about 2.5 high. Its made from rare African Cocobolo wood. For some odd reason, the colors are WAY off what one would normally see in cocobolo. There are deep purples, and oranges, and gorgeous grain. Both my parents agree that it is by far the prettiest piece I have turned yet. Im putting it up to trade, becuase honestly we have too many already around my house. Ill trade for a nice common date MS64 morgan toner, or something close in value. This bowl is truly an amazing piece of wood, thats also useful. I made it so the new owner can use it for food/dip. PM with offers, all offerse considered. Thank you so much for your time. If an offer in cash is made, Ill donate 10% to Jeremy's charity auction. PM me for better pictures too! Keep refreshing if pictures show up as X's at first. For some reason some of these keep droping out.
This last picture is a comparison of the bowl im trading (left) with another cocobolo bowl (right). The bowl on the right shows the normal colors of this wood. All the years I have been turning, I have NEVER seen natural wood with this color pattern. Its truly amazing.
