1961 Proof Franklin Half DDR...value?.....Rarity?

Just ran across a pretty dramatic 1961 Proof Franklin Half that has clear doubling on quite a bit of the reverse lettering.........does it have any value and how rare is this Double Die?

If it is THE DDR, it's pretty rare and can be worth a lot of money depending on condition. If it is THE DDR, the motto will be dramatically doubled and easily visible to the naked eye.

It looks like their are several varities ....some worth $$$$ and some worth $......I believe mine is the DDR-001, which means most of the reverse legend is doubled......so not the big dollar one. Just found one in the Heritage archives which is where I got the info. I never get lucky and find the rare ones

The Wexler book lists DDR #1 with a value of $50 in proof 65. I bought one on Teletrade for $22 in an ANACS PF66 holder last year.

I was fortunate enough to find a couple of the BIG ones in unopened proof sets. Sold one in a PCGS PR66 holder for $2500 - kept the other. I had been looking for the big one for about 5 years - then got very lucky.
