    Hi Kevin
    Here for a bit - been busy this weekend with wife's sister/husband in for a visit. Did you read my post that I did pick up a Bonds refractor?

    Have decided to try to complete the THC set this year again. I have some buds that probably don't care about the set and will help me out.

    My luck staying the same with autos! image

    Have not had time to work on the set this weekend with being busy - but I personally like what I see so far!

    chris you check the confirmation #'s i gave you? i see stalins and p andrews #s show them in jacksonville. if not today im pissed bc it said 2 day prioity mail. sorry about that. will be monday for sure then.

    Chris - I checked it. The last status was coming out of Georgia. I am in NJ, so there could have been some delay, but either way it's no biggie. USPS has done that to me in the past as well. Thanks again.

    That just means that you will be getting a 1/1! That's the way it works. I will be looking forward to seeing what you pull!

    OK, couldn't wait. We just finished opening up the last of the case. 4 GU, no autos or black refractors, probably have a full set minus a few of the higher numbers. Overall the set looks really cool! Time to start collating it.
    I did notice the regular cards have Beltre with the Dodgers, and the chrome ones have him with the Mariners. Are there variations of this?

    Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

    I also noticed quite a bit of the light backs. Now that I see the in person I can see how someone might think they are variations.

    my Kuhlman boxes came today! I'm going to grab a bite to eat at Burger King, then I'll be back home to open the boxes.. i have a good feeling i'll pull an autograph..

    UPS delivers on Monday. Holiday or no holiday. I know. I talked to them. I'm expecting them at 2 p.m. Two cases are sitting at the local UPS office right now. If you have a tracking number, you can find out exactly where they are.

    I didn't buy from Kuhlmann, but I have done business with UPS. That's all and I know that despite the fact that there is no mail service on Monday, UPS is working.

    You guys are evil. Despite living in a metro area of 500,000, we basically have one large card shop - just mountains of moderns and magic cards. Every Saturday I drop my stepson off to play in a yugioh tournament but this time I decided to go in a take a look. They had 3 Heritage boxes with limit 2 per customer. Since I see that they have vintage stars in there, I bought 2 at $69.95 each. Now I have 2 unopened boxes and don't have a clue what to expect. What am I looking for???

    my 2nd box had 4 chromes (1 refractor) - one of the chromes was William Harridge(president) and its OC left to right..

    it also had Pujols and Vlad Guerreros NAP's, 5 team cards, 2 flashbacks, 1 then & now..

    Randy Johnson, Barry Bonds cards (SP's?) and the 2 President base cards (i got none of these in the 1st box)

    and it had a Dave Johnson Topps Legends AUTO which wont bring much on eBay.. I know, because i pulled the SAME EXACT card from a pack of 2004 heritage!

    all things considered, 2 auto's & 2 boxes is pretty damn good!

    congrats perry at least someone got something. you could probably sell both those cards and buy another case or a nice ricky card!

    Well, I got my boxes. image No autographs, but I did get a Feller stadium seat card and a Manny Ramirez jersey swatch. There was also one pack with three flashback cards in it. No black chrome, but I did get 3 /1956 out of each box and a /556 (Magglio Ordonez and Jason Giambi, with the Giambi being 500/556) from each box as well. And, most importantly, my wife and I had fun opening them.

    There is no end to the number of jokes I came up with when I saw the card, believe me. image Of all the refractors to pull...

    My wife's going to let me buy more boxes when the retail comes out. She likes them better than the new year's batch of Bazooka cards. Out of one box of 11 Bazooka packs, she got 4 copies of one card and 3 copies of another, and two nonsense tattoos. I think all I have to do is give her all the modern GU that come out of the Heritage packs, and she'll be happy.

    Were they UPS or USPS?? UPS ran today so I got my box, not from Kuhlman. USPS did not run today.. Fed EX has not stopped by yet either I am expecting a package from them as well..

    I will have to check when I get home; my wife told me it was in. However, she said that the box was marked "Priority" and looked like the USPS boxes I ususally get. Although that would seem next to impossible. I will post what it truly is when I get home.

    There are a lot of posts for 2005 Topps. It is hard to keep up if its not all centralized.
