Peru: 1 centavo, 1960, BU. KM227, zinc. 2004 cat. $8.00 UNC, $4.00 UNC if the 60/50 overdate variety.
Bright white little coin-looks like aluminum instead of zinc. Too bad my Nazi zincs don't look like this! Small lamination at 2:00 on the reverse. Not sure if this is the 60/50 overdate or not- this is the only time I can remember an overdate actually cataloging for less than the normal date. I can't see anything there, but it is a pretty small coin. Figure it as the overdate, in other words, the common variety. $3.75

Decent medium-to dark-brown coin. Lion lovers take note: there's a handsome one on the reverse. $2.00
14 COINS: United States: small collection of Indian Head cents in 1962 H.E. Harris bifold folder. Includes 1882, 1890-1897, 1900, 1901, and 1904-1906, all in Good to approximately Fine condition. These coins are not awful looking but unfortunately all but the 1882 were cleaned a long time ago. They have had time to retone partially but it is still obvious that somebody once shined 'em up pretty well. The 1882 is something I added later. It grades G6 to VG8 but has a few spots on the obverse. These coins would make a nice cheap starter set for a kid or would be good in jewelry or craft projects, since they have that orange-brown shiny look (which is viewed as unnatural in numismatic circles but is attractive for jewelry). $10 (that averages out to roughly 71 cents a coin).

Philippines (US Commonwealth), 50 centavos, 1944-S, AU. KM183, .750 silver/.2411 oz.
2004 Krause says $1.50 XF (shoot, melt is more than that, now!)/$3.00 UNC; 2004 Redbook says $2.00 XF/$4.50 MS60.
San Francisco Mint, Medium grey-gold, not too lustrous but decent looking. $2.50

Dark brown, a little lighter on the devices, far nicer than the normal circulated ones found in bulk lots. Quite nearly VF. $1.75
Spain: 10 centimos, 1870-OM, G+. KM663, copper. 2nd Ed. cat. $2.00 F.
Well circulated but no distractions, dark brown, pretty nice for a low grade coin, full rims on both sides. $1.25
Spain: 10 centimos, 1870-OM, F. KM663, copper. 2nd Ed. cat. $2.00 F.
