Just heard a report on the local news that the 2 sides reached a deal. I'm not a big hockey fan, but it's good to see them come together and try and get a deal done. Have to happy about that...

    That's not what I heard. Last report I heard (yesterday) was all talks were off and they were back to square one. The report ended with some players comments on how Bettman should be fired and that he is an embarassment to the game. Those guys need to look in the mirror!
