OT: Quarters sprout extra leaf

Yeah, I know that this is not the place BUT some people would like to know what goes on in other areas of collecting. I have regularly been buying 100 coin bags of State Quarter from the US Mint. $25 bags are now going for $200+ on eBay because of this:

The extra "leafy" quarter is fetching as much as $1,400.

DirtyHarry, yes I know it is the wrong forum BUT in cases like this I don't mind if collectors post information other than sports collecting that I would like to know and might have missed.
