Transit Tokens, Is there a good guidebook?

DNADaveDNADave Posts: 7,271 ✭✭✭✭✭
I just received a huge lot of tokens. There are well over a hundred from all over the place.
Is there a good reference for these? I'd like to organize them and discover if any are rare or not.

The Atwood-Coffee Catalog (of United States and Canadian transportation tokens) is what
you need. There are three volumes but volume one lists all the known tokens. There is also
a catalog for automobile washing tokens.

This is available at a steep discount from the AVA (American Vecturist Association) and a mem-
bership is nearly free when the discount is figured. Members tend to be very helpful to newbies
and collections can be assembled very cheaply.

Try writing John M. Coffee, Jr. (editor), PO BOX 1204, Boston, MA 02104.

    address added.
