Tried to cut a deal on this coin and another Peace 5c this evening , but deal fell through and coins amazingly became unavailable.

Getting tried of offers thru brokers that dangle carrots from a pole expecting you to keep on walking. Well.........Thats what I am doing, and as you can see from my "buy price", it was heavily padded to attract the "motivated" SELLER whom actually posses the coin.

(Actually, I love carrots, but not attached to a pole)

I see a 2004 D Keel boat closed at teletrade for much lower than your buy price, don't see how you couldn't cut the deal at your buy price. I'm sure there are many at PCGS for grading, being a 2004 coin. Keep your head up, there are plenty of reliable sources out there! I'm sure you will able to find one of these coins. It's only a matter of time before You, I or Someone else will hit a sweet spot of these coins and there will be plenty to go around.

I have a purty nice lookin' one in my pocket. I could probably send it off to NTC or TruGrade and get you an MS68 on it.

(edit: dang, never mind. Mine is a "P" mint. There went my 800 bucks.)

Got any darkside "Boat" coins....I think the keelboat has about burned me out on, the "Keelboat" series.

LM....Actually I do have some Boat-Darksides. I have picked up some nice 58 half pennys and a few other darkside items from 58 thanks to all the presentations from the board member on a previous thread regarding the coolest looking 58 coins from the darkside. Thanks LM
