Do these people just make this stuff up as they go along? image

Seeing that auction makes me feel better.

Im not half as stupid as I look now.
There once was a place called

  • Selling a quarter for $46? If he keeps it up, call him genius, albeit with a really bad feedback rating.

  • I am new to this whole scene, but could somebody explain this to me? I'm very confused.

I thought the error leaf had an additional leaf under the big one to the left, pointing either up or down. I don't see it on this auction...So why did it go for 46 dollars...Did I miss something?

  • It went for $46 because the bidder is a moron who also has no idea what he's supposed to be looking for in a real Wisconsin Extra Leaf variety.

If everyone else gets dumber, does that make me smarter? Actually, I guess if I was smart, I'd start selling all my loose change on eBay.
Varieties are the spice of a Type Set.

    Need more $$$ for coins?

  • And to think I try to sell slabbed coins on ebay and people want them 20 per cent below bid. I must be nuts.image
    Just having fun.
  • Guess I need to dump the 'ol mason jar.

I can see it now......$500 /coin found an ol' mason jar under the floorboards......here's your one shot at getting an error leaf quarter. They is sure purty.

guess I need to put the coins next to the safe from the lava flow.
This is a very dumb ass thread. - Laura Sperber - Tuesday January 09, 2007 11:16 AM image

Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.
