My registry set

Hey guys,

Yesterday my 72 Topps Hockey set had 45 cards in it.

There were 43-9's, 1-8 & 1-10

The GPA was 9.00, it was 12.88%, in 6th spot & rated 1.13

Today I added 6-9's to the set and here's what happened...

GPA 8.99, 13.64%, in 7th & rating of 1.06.

Now I know it's not a big deal but how the heck does the

GPA and the rating drop? If the GPA was 9 and I add six 9's.....

GPA should stay 9!

The only thing I can think of is the weight changed

on maybe the one card that is an 8???

Any thoughts or ideas?

That's quite a start to set!! An 8 on a last card from the early 70's hockey is still pretty clean to me. I guess it's because of the way the decimals work out that you lost .01. The 8 has to be weighted because it's the last card, that must be what is pulling you down.

I understand but the 8 has been there since I started the set. The set had a GPA of 9.00 yesterday & I added six 9's today.

It's just strange. Maybe the two 10's I have coming will bring it back up.

Still, even if you add a PSA 1 card, your set rating should go up, not down!

Sounds like a quirk in the system, some baseball issues had a problem just like that 2 weeks ago. Advise Cosetta and she will fix the problem.

Unless I don't understand things correctly, there is no way your ranking or you set rating should go down when you ADD cards, regardless of the condition. And if your GPA was a 9 prior to the additions, I don't see how adding nothing but 9's can make it go down.

This is interesting, the other day I added a PSA 4 Sandy Koufax rookie to my mid-grade 1955 Topps set, and I swore the rating did not change. I thought I was just imagining things (I couldn't remember for sure what the exact rating was prior to the addition, but it seemed it didn't change). Maybe there's a bug in the software right now?

After I add cards, and verify the set, I always have to refresh the (example) 1955 Topps all-time, and current finest page before i will see the changes.

As WinPitcher said , alot of us Baseball guys had the same thing happen on our sets when we added some cards ! Just a glitch in the software ! After Psa was notified of the problem , everyone was able to correct it ! I just deleted the cards I had added , and re-entered them again , and everything was back to normal !.............Robbie
