are grade's postings slowing down?

I haven't seen any non-moderns posted in the last couple of days.
Am I getting impatient?

Well, when you ship coins registered mail and it takes 8 days to get to PCGS and they take 11 days to acknowledge reciept..Yeah, it’s slowing down, especially on my end! image

    I hear that!! image

The reality is, the way it's going now...blackout dates and all, even a $50 / 7 day submission will get you grades (if you're lucky) in a month. The $30 submission, closer to 2 months because you'll probably catch 2 blackout dates.

This is why I asked how/why people get coins slabbed that sell for under $80, or so -- do they basically get the coins for free or are they getting a special deal that I'm not aware of? image
  • I posted one yesterday. It was received on 1/27/05 and shipped 2/17/05. I thought it was sent in as economy but I guess it was a regular submission, 15 day turnaround.

I think it's probably that they thought the coin would grade higher. All you need is a grade or two higher and now it's a several hundred $ coin.

I sent in 8 coins with free grading vouchers back in late January. It took about 7 days to post (Jan 31st). And I got an Email yesterday telling me grades had arrived and that they had shipped. That is a record for me.
