Atlanta Coin Stores in Marietta or Sandy Springs??

StuartStuart Posts: 9,761 ✭✭✭✭✭
I am visiting family in the Atlanta area this weekend and was wondering if there are any good coin stores in the Marietta or Sandy Springs areas where I could introduce a potential YN to the hobby. Of course a large inventory of mint state PCGS Morgans would be preferred. image

We are staying in the East Cobb area, but Sandy Springs may also be convenient for the YN. Thanks in advance for your consideration and for your reply either as a post to this thread or via PM.

  • I bought a couple of coins recently from this dealer:

I bought a nice 1943-S Jeff in MS66 from his website. Nice white coin. Met him in person at the Charlotte show last weekend. Nice guy. I bought a 1959 Frankie in MS64. Good coins at decent prices. He showed me more coins than I money to buy, but would have otherwise image

Craig (CCC Coins) is a great guy but I don't believe he has a shop. I would suggest you try:

    LARRY JACKSON NUMISMATICS INC
    Larry Jackson
    4920 Roswell Rd, #23B
    Atlanta, GA 30342
    404-256-3667

JB Hamrick also has a shop in Roswell:

Finally, I'd recommend paying Kyle Vick a visit at Stanton Books (also in Roswell). He sells some coins but is mostly books and supplies. Great prices too:

Theres also Robinsons Coins in downtown Marietta. It's right off the square. They deal mostly in raw, circ stuff, but do have a nice selection of proof sets, and commems in the mint packaging. I've run across several gems there while digging.

Didn't know it, but they have a website too......just found it.

Frank, Wayne & GaCoinGuy: Thanks very much for providing some recommended Atlanta coin stores in the Marietta & Sandy Springs areas.

I'll let you know if I have a chance to stop by any of them while here visiting.
