I have several sets from the 60´s coming from an estate I am going through.
The quality of the coins are very various as far as I can see, and I have some questions I am sure you can help me with.
The sets (75 all together) are:
4 - 1962 Proof
13 - 1962 Mint
12 - 1963 Proof
13 - 1963 Mint
15 - 1964 Proof
10 - 1964 Mint
5 - 1965 Special Mint
(and 64,65,66 Canadian Proof)
None of the plastic bags are opened in none of the sets.
Only 4 envelopes of the Proofs are opened by me just for inspection.
Can you estimate a rough value?
The Proof coins looks better than the Mint coins. All of the coins looks Cameo to me.
The SMS coins looks better than the Mint coins, and looks more "icy" on the rised areas.
Some of the mint and SMS coins has (nice) toning.
This is the way these coins should be?
Strange spot on a 1962 Proof dime. Bullet hole
It is almost impossible to take perfect pictures of the coins because of the scrathes in the plastic. How do you do this?
Scratches
Will it be easiest to sell this as a lot or to split it?
What will give the best amount of money?

get up to 105% of bid if you shop them around and ship them to the big buyers. Gem
sets, unopened sets and other special coins can bring far more. Cameo (frosted) coins
of all these demand a premium if the frosting is complete and typical and this is especially
true for the '65 issues.
