Yes..he's a nice guy. Had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of time when he was shooting MacGyver in and around Vancouver. Ran into him at a building supply store one Christmas....he was checking out the trees.

Another great auto! His sig is almost like art work...keep them coming! I just dropped some dough on unopened vintage packs...would like to look into the celebrity auto area eventually...at least you know these are real since I'm guessing they are supervised by the card companies?

I read where the bulk of celebrity autos are bogus...have you heard the same?

hey mike,

oh yes, the number of fake autos out there is very large.
but remember, the ones that are faked the most often are the big money auto`s. mantle, jordan, ruth, etc......
forgers are not going to bother with an auto that is not going to bring in the big, big bucks.

card companies learned a few years back that they have to have an representitive at the signings.

there was a sports figure that was having his agent, brother, friends, etc...... sign his cards for him.
the card companies would just deliver the cards then pick them up.
well, collectors took note that the sigs were not anywhere near the same.
further investigation turned up what i mentioned above.

now, companies send people to witness and collect the signed cards.

Thanx for the link - that's the article I saw - not sure how I came to read it last week - a lot of people write the stars for pics/autos not realizing that their secretaries sign for them - this just adds to the confusion I guess.
