1900 O/CC Morgan

How rare is this over mint mark variety? Is it worth it to buy one in VG for $25? Thanks for the replies.

The higher the grade the more visible the cc. But also higher the price.image

  • There are a few 1900-O/CC varieties that grace "The Top 100" Morgan Dollar Varieties. VAMs 9 and 7-12 Have a Popularity factor of 10 out of 10 According to "The VAM Keys" by Michael S. Fey and Jeff Oxman.

    The VAM Keys book 3rd edition I have 1997 indicates a VAM-9 at VF30 at $100-....back then.

Would I buy it without knowing what VAM yours is...for $25....YOU BETCHA!! image

Here's a few sales of 1900 O/CC coins currently selling on eBay:

If I only had a dollar for every VAM I have...err...nevermind...I do!! image
