Old ngc label question

What are the chances of getting an upgrade? Thinking of resubmitting a 93cc ngc ms60 in old pcgs holder. image

    As always, it depends on the coin. An earlier slab is not a guarantee of an upgrade ... there are overgraded coins in both first-generation rattlers and green label slabs. However, many believe that grading was very strict on early slabs and some coins could potentially upgrade. What kind of slab is your coin in.

    It really depends on the coin. Popular wisdom once had it that old "rattler" holders and older green-labels were good upgrade fodder, but this ain't always the case.

    If your coin is graded MS60 and doesn't have obvious hairlines and scuffs all over it, then maybe it IS an upgrade candidate.

    Hard to guess without seein' a picture.

    Edit: duh. I just reread and see you were talkin' about older NGC holders.

    In that case, I dunno, but most of what I said still stands.

    Sorry, but not set up for pics. Coin is clean for the grade. What concerns me is it has a light grayish hue to it on both obverse and reverse.

    Chances of upgrade really just depend on how the coin looks. Unfortunately, no one can guage that without a picture.
