Funny.. I just noticed they misspelled his name on the piece of game used stick I have bellow as my signature..

Do you think THIS is real? I was going to bid but maybe not...

looks good to me, the only thing i see different on the card
is the knob looks like it has white tape.

Yeah, the knob had me wondering as well. Not because of the color of the tape since I see that he used white and black but because the tape on the knob is all at the very tip and doesn't spiral down. Every single card and picture I've seen of his the tape spirals down which makes me squeamish of bidding as well. *shrug* I'm probably just over paranoid.

I don't think I will. The spelling error in his name and how the knob is taped are bugging me too much. I looked at tons and tons of pictures and couldn't find one where the knob was taped that way. If the stick were on Lelands or mastro I would probably bid since they have a good reputations. I've never heard anything good or bad about this 'Classic Collectibles'. eh..

This is the first Classic Collectibles auction I've really paid attention too, but I believe they're a pretty reputable company. I think they handled the auctions of Bobby Hull's collection of memorabilia and Guy Lafleur's personal stash. Probably a few others too. And it looks like they're doing the same for Jean Beliveau in this auction.
