Poll: Is your eBay feedback score mathematically correct?

I saw my eBay Feedback score was 1641 with 1640 positive and 1 negative, so my score should be 1639 but it's 1641.
(I had to tell one PowerSeller to attened Fun University (FU) so he left me 2 negs. Since it was only one member it should subtract 1 from the 1640 - instead it added it )

It gets off every now and then. It usually fixes itself in a few days.

Why this should happen is beyond me. It's a simple mathematical calculation. I don't even know why eBay would store this information -- if I had programmed it, I would have just calculated it on the fly whenever the page was loaded.

How on God's green earth do you get a Negative and still have 100% Positive Feedback? (PS: The guy who gave me the Negative did so because HE SOLD ME a pairs of jeans with a hole in them and said I put the hole in them!)
