Cracked PSA slabs on return...

I just got my PSA submission back and I noticed that there are small cracks on a couple of the slabs. Does this happen to others? Kinds sucks when you pay so much for shipping.

I got one back with a cracked corner in my last submission. I sent it back and PSA reholdered it for free. (I had to pay postage to send the card to them; they paid for it on the return.) I've returned cards in holders that were scratched, too. For a while I was getting a lot of scratched holders back, but that has improved.

  • Is this a crack from a shipping incident, or a small crack from when the 2 halves of the slab were joined together? I have a few slabs with that problem. The cracks are not large enough to create worry. image
  • I get them quite often now. Either poor quality control or they are using defectice holders. *frown*
  • I think they were created when the two slabs were put together as opposed to shipping.
