Warning regarding an ebay seller

tomorrowsgems is his/her ebay user ID. If I remember correctly, they are based out of Florida.

A few months back I won an auction of theirs. A Pele PSA 9. I paid via paypal immediately after the auction closed. 3 weeks passed and I received nothing from them. After a few emails of promises that they sent it and that they would send another. They finally refunded my money. Which is why I was suspicious. After Sending the original, then a replacement, he refunds my money? Either he never sent either time or never had the card to begin with.

Now that same card is back on ebay being sold by the same seller. In all fairness, if anyone has had any good experiences with this eller, lets hear them.

  • same cert # on the relisting?? If so, then either he's stupid or didn't think the price was high enough to sell the card to you. Either way bad news.

He refunded the money to avoid a negative filled with hatred.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
  • Not sure if both cert numbers are the same or not. The scan from the old auction as well as this one are hard for me to see the numbers.
  • yeah he takes small scans of the cards, and then writes a book about each player.

  • What was the card, and how much did you pay? Do you have some links to the auctions?

Edited to say: The seller's feedback is pretty stellar. Hard to believe that this wasn't a clerical error or something, but at least your money was refunded.
  • At least admit the clerical error, not lie that you are sending a replacement and act surprised when that one too does not show up in my mailbox.

I won the auction, with no counterbids, for 9.99. Which was also the opening bid just like it is on the current auction. Other sellers have sold this card since then, with a few active bidders.

I agree about the feedback rating. Almost makes me want to bid again, but I am hesitant. Yes I did get my money back in the end. More of a headache than anything.
