Anyone deal with international auction houses?

Has anyone had any luck with international auction houses? I was wondering what if any experiences anyone has had with auctions outside of the US, maybe Canada, England, or some other foreign country. If so, can you list their sites and share your experience(s).

How about US auction houses? I've bought from Superior in the past and was very pleased. How about some other recommendations?

Any helpful advice will be greatly appreciated.

JonB: Sorry about still having your icon. I went to add mine and during the download something happened and the option to add your own icon was gone. I had a great Bobby Jones picture to add but I suppose I will have to wait another month to add it now? image

  • I picked up a couple nice early 70's sets from these guys. They mostly handle memorabilia so the sets usually don't see much action.

  • Lets See, I've purchased from eBayers from Canada, England, Korea, and Australia all with positive experiences. No European auction houses but I've purchased from the following U.S. auction houses:

    1.) Mastronet image
2.) Coaches Corner (Run Fast, Run Far) imageimageimage
    3.) Sportico image
4.) Slater's Americana (Now Heritage) image
5.) Hunt Auctions (Even though they don't authenticate) image
    6.) Bricol Sports image
    7.) Vintage Authentics image

All things considered, I've had some pretty good experiences from the auction houses with the exception of Coaches Corner with whom I will never give my money again!!!. image
