Peace VAM...... 2 VAM's on 1 coin

I picked up a 1922 Peace dollar that I discovered has the Obverse of the VAM 4 and the Reverse of VAM 6.
Is this common and how is it attributed ? I am 99% sure I am correct on this since I have become pretty efficient at identifying the Top 50 Peace VAMs, this is just the first time I've found 2 on 1 coin.

Any opinions?

Possible? Oh sure. Each obverse/reverse pairing is a different vam. Could be a new vam.

I have a couple of morgans with different VAMs front to back. I would say it is probable and it may turn out to be a new VAM.

Also, no I have not notified/contacted Van Allen & Mallis to check if mine would qualify as new VAMs

I would contact Jeff Oxman on this one. Do you have pics? Maybe we can help you clear it up right here.

No pics yet. I really need to get a camera that allows me to get good close up shots. I'll try to take a few as soon as I can and post. Both the VAM 4 and 6 are hard to see without a loupe, especially the 4.
