How do you crack open slab?

Hey, I want to re-submit a GAI card at PSA:

How do you crack open the GAI slab without damaging the card? I don't care if the slab breaks beyond recognition....

I usually score the seams with a razor knife. just dont try and score to deep right away. little at a time. if that fails i use a hammer.

Usually just jimmying a butter knife around the edges works for me. Sometimes I have to use a hack saw a little bit around the edges.

No tools are necessary: just twist the holder until you hear cracking, then set it on a table and pry it open with your fingers.

When I have cracked mine, I used a Dremel. Either I go right above the flip along the entire top edge, or I will cut off a corner, and then pry the rest open with a flat head screwdriver.

Put the slab in a plain letter envelope. Slap a 37 cent stamp on it. Address it to yourself. Drop it in a mailbox.

In a couple days you'll receive the card with the slab sufficiently cracked/smashed. Then just pick the slab apart and pull the card out.

Works everytime!

I tried the good old method of prying it open with a flat head screwdriver. Only thing I did was draw blood. Got pissed and whipped out the Black & Decker wizard. Problem solved. Nothing like that high pitched whizzing sound to calm your nerves when opening a slab.
